At Alphabeta we understand that your work may finish later than your childs school hours. It is for this reason that we offer an after school program which we refer to as OOSH (Out of School Hours). This is a program that is aimed at your primary school aged child and offers supervised leisure time. The hours that Alphabeta offers is 7:30am till 9am and then from 3pm till 6pm.

Alphabeta acknowledges that children want to, and need to enjoy themselves. For this reason, we do not follow a ‘regimented’ program like the ones at primary school, but rather, our program encourages child-initiatedrecreation activities with some guidance by our staff member. Typical activities include arts and crafts, playing group games, drama performances, doing homework or quiet reading, and other spontaneous activities. Your child will be provided with delightful and nutritious snack food to satiate their appetite until they go home. Most importantly, this provides a great opportunity for your child to develop friendships and for the older children to develop a sense of leadership with the younger children. There is a great sense of friendship and community in this OOSH environment which makes it all the more easy for your child to feel comfortable! Please note prices are due to change without notice.
